Springfield Symphony answers The Big Questions of life in its upcoming 2018-2019 season
SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – The Springfield Symphony is opening its 84th consecutive season by exploring big issues about life and death, art and inspiration, and love and marriage in its 2018-2019 season The Big Questions. The nine-concert subscription series will be performed at Juanita K. Hammons Hall for the Performing Arts starting on September 15, 2018, and will run through May 11, 2019.
“It’s a good time to remind everyone that my motto has always been No Boring Concerts, and this year is no exception,” exclaimed Kyle Wiley Pickett, music director/conductor for the Springfield Symphony. “This year is going to be full of thrilling and dramatic concerts that take on the serious Big Questions we’re looking at, as well as playful and fun concerts that look at the lighter side of life.”
Season tickets are currently on sale at the Springfield Symphony office (411 N. Sherman Pkwy). Patrons can either stop in the Symphony office or call the office at 417-864-6683 to purchase season tickets. Single tickets are currently on sale at the Juanita K. Hammons Hall box office, and can be purchased by calling (417) 836-7678 or online at www.missouristatetix.com. Ticket prices range from $10 – $40 and discounts are available for students and seniors.
