Join the Springfield Symphony on Sunday, September 27, for an inspirational evening of great hymns and popular choruses, many of them arranged by the late Steinway Artist Larry Dalton. Mr. Dalton unexpectedly passed away on May 29th and we honor his memory in this concert. Under the baton of Maestro Ron Spigelman, the Symphony will join with a 200-voice community choir to present some of the finest music in church history! New this year “Big Smith” will bring its hillbilly-gospel flavor to the celebration. Everyone will have a chance to celebrate this rich heritage of hymns and audience participation is encouraged.
